I’m Chris. I make documentaries (I think that’s what you’d call them?) about geographic oddities, hidden infrastructure, and hopefully blow your mind like mine was blown while doing research for that very video. Sometimes, truly understanding those topics requires me to do incredibly stupid things.
If you’ve seen my work on YouTube, it’s likely because…
I audited the secret, multi-million dollar economy of America’s largest state fair.
I mapped Minnesota’s wealthiest, most secretive city with a drone, and their lawyers sent me a cease-and-desist.
I used controversial sonar technology to catch the “fish of 10,000 casts”.
I hired a local psychic to break the longest championship drought in American professional sports.
I built a TV backpack to disguise myself like a human chameleon to evade a nationwide network of police surveillance cameras.
Why this website exists:
A YouTube video can only hold so much before the algorithm buries it. This place is the archive for everything else.
This is where I document how these videos are actually made. Some people, myself included, find the stories behind how things are made the most interesting. So this is the place for that.
If you’re still reading, I’d recommend you just subscribe. It’s free. But also if you want to support financially I think there’s an option for that too. Either way, I appreciate you so much.
